As I sit in an abandoned airport in the middle of the night in Eastern Africa, I reminisce and try to think how this has ended here.

Sometimes a week is just a mere shimmer in the takeout box of life. It might be that last piece of Pakora that was hiding away in the corner of the box. Small, surprising, tasty nonetheless.

It’s been one of those hidden Pakora weeks, I think to myself while sipping on a can of Habesha Cold Gold (look it up to see where your Papa is). I encourage you to look deeper into your last week, take a journey, together with me. Let the memories live once again before they fade away into the abyss.

This week’s theme will be change. I sure hope that while you are reading this, you encounter change as well. For many it brings confusion, even fear. But face it confidently and I can tell you, there will be a reward. Whether it is location, attitude, or even just trying new beers. Face it, give into the thing that will happen anyway: CHANGE.

Some of you might have expected for the review to get into detail, what politics have moved and what I did. But does it really matter? Do you read these texts to be informed about the whereabouts of Papa Shanghai (which I already gave you)? This should push a button, and not even a significant one. So be aware, this is not a network. And frankly, I don’t care about what you did. In fact, I don’t even care if you read this. But when you do, know that I appreciate it. Because the next time we will meet, I will listen to what you did. A review of some sorts on your life.

So be aware: if you are sincere, I will be too. If you are interested, I will be as well. So this week, listen to the theme, change. Let’s do it together. Actually, stand up, go to a window. Now open it and shout: CHANGE!

See you next week, my friends.
